Our residential real estate department is one of the most advanced and most efficient in South Georgia. It is managed by three partners, all whom have extensive real estate experience, including purchases, sales, auctions, development, restrictive covenants, condominium development, subdivision development, and planned urban developments. Our real estate department is supported by two specialized real estate assistants, with a combined experience of 39 years, by far the most experienced and talented in South Georgia. They are further supported by two in house real estate title examiners, with combined experience of 27 years. While many law firms do not staff their own title examiners, we maintain two on staff in order to ensure we can meet the time constraints of our clients and their representatives and lenders. As a result, we are able to provide superior accuracy in our title reviews and unmatched turnaround times on residential closings. These factors have helped contribute to annual real estate closings in excess of $306 million dollars.

Our expertise extends to all facets of the real estate market, especially complex real estate development. We have assisted developers for over 30 years in developing the largest residential projects in Lowndes County. Additionally, we have been engaged to assist on almost every condominium ever developed in the City of Valdosta. We handled the real estate closings on the largest student housing apartments in Valdosta, as well as the largest single family housing development for Moody Air Force Base, a project of over 35 million dollars. We also recently assisted a partnership in a court ordered auction, which resulted in the largest one day sale of residential development land at auction in local history.
